Ep. 17: 14-Day Meal Plan for $50?! Ft. Easter Sunday 💛

HAPPY EASTER 🐣 ⭐

HAPPY EASTER 🐰

I hope this messages finds you happy, healthy, and wealthy! 💛

This week, I am going to challenge myself—immensely. I am going to attempt to only spend $50, on 14-days of meals! Is it even possible? Well, I am honestly going to find out.

To make it easy on myself—I chose to go with Ground Turkey. I think it’s one of the cheapest meats, per pound, in the store. With a little seasoning—it’s nearly indistinguishable from ground beef—especially for the price difference.

I also shopped around between Walmart—and Fred Meyer. There is about a $5-$8 cost difference after both of my carts were built—in app. I don’t like surprises, so I always “pre-shop” in the app prior going to the store. haha. 😂

Here is my list: (I already have access to basic staples, and seasonings)

9 lbs of Ground Turkey (usually between $2-$3/lb depending on the store)

3-5 Zucchini’s

2-3 Roma Tomato’s

5 Onions

Rice

Tomato Paste

Cheese

Tortillas

2-4 Jalapeños

Loaf of Bread

Can Of Tuna

5lbs of Potatoes

BBQ Sauce

Day #1: Dirty Rice

Day #2: Mini Turkey Burgers

Day #3: Leftovers or cereal lol

Day #4 Sloppy Turkey-Joes

Day #5: Shiela Tacos

Day #6: Leftovers or cereal

Day #7: Hobo Hash (Dirty Rice + Potato)

Day #8: BBQ Turkey Ballz

Day #9: Leftovers or cereal

Day #10: Grilled Cheese 2.0 (with Tomato, and Jalapeño)

Day #11: Potato Hash (Turkey + Potato + Jalapeño)

Day #12: Leftovers or Cereal

Day #13: Tuna Melt

Day #14: Baked Zucchini

Is this feasible? What am I missing? Honestly—I think I might be over-budget.

Right now my basket is sitting at a cool $48.81–should I risk adding another Jalapeño @ .24 cents a pop—maybe I will, just to be spicy. Okay. 7 Jalapeños in the basket; it’s adding up to be a spicy week!

Well, this is all so very exciting.

Well, that’s all folks! đŸ„• 🐇
