Hey everybody! âď¸
So yesterday I compiled a 14-day meal-plan, including leftover daysâand today we are going to execute!
Instead of doing Dirty Rice for Day 1âlike I thought yesterdayâwe are going to do Mini Burgers. (Which, weâre scheduled for day #2âbut whatevs.)
I found this recipe while browsing Pinterestâand felt inspired to recreate it in one of my episodes. They donât include Onion or Tomato in their versionâso that will be my twist.

Todayâs meal cost was about $4âthankfully, we donât have tax here in Oregon.
1lb Frozen Turkey: $2.79
1 Zucchini: about $0.50
1 Roma Tomato: $0.20
Cheese: $0.50
1/4 Onion: >$0.50
Total: $4.49
Mind you, I bought larger quantities, and these are approximately equivalent costs to what I will be using for this meal.
$4.49 for a meal isnât badâmy remaining budget is $45.51 for 13 days! That is an average of $3.5 a dayâwe will see if I can pull it off. So far, so good! đ

These were particularly fun to makeâI love getting hands on with the food I am cooking.
As far as Turkey is concernedâthe fresh Tomato, Onion, and Jalapeno are essential. Turkey doesnât have a super high fat contentâand can turn out dry. A fresh bite of a juicy tomato helps offset that.
For a budget mealâthis probably takes the slider. Oh, and if we were wonderingâNO the JalapeĂąos failed the spice-test. VERY high in aromaâvery little spicy. I am disappointed and surprised by the aroma.
Well, I reckon that wraps another meal for Daniel, on Daniel Eats!
P.S. Spring Semester started todayâI havenât even looked at my assignmentsâokay, maybe I peeked. lol
Daniel out! âď¸
