I hope that anyone that might find themselves reading this, is having a beautiful day! 💛
Today is Monday—May the 27th at 12:10 PM MST—I am very thankful for today!
So along my trip in Mexico—I took A LOT OF PHOTOS! Pretty much the next couple of posts will be strictly photo dumps—plus a little added commentary from yours truly.
Let us not waste any more precious time!
View from my balconyMe, taking advantage of the situation. I had saw that Cardi B ordered KFC while she was in Japan, or something, so I felt naturally inclined to try it as well. This is how it arrived—the universe telling me something…it was so tasty tho! City Tour! City Tour w name tag. Literally the most beautiful church! This was the food stop, along our city tour. It was actually like 30 minutes outside the city headed south. THE MOST DELICIOUS SALSAI had to have a mango margarita! This was actually someone else’s’s meal that they sat down in front of me—thinking it was mine, I started taking photos! This was my actual meal—shrimp kabob! ( Personally, the shrimp were so “meaty” that it turned me off of shrimp for the duration of my trip. A smidge overcooked)Second Margarita! Strawberry! We went to a family owned business, a tequila distillery, over 100 years old. A photo of me in front of a 100 year old agave plant! 6 shots, and two margaritas deep! JEEZEveryone was ready to party, except the Canadians, in the front. They loosened up a little bit. The day after—I got a wonderful massage on the beach for $50 USD. And purchased a party favor, for another $40. I got got, y’all. Passion Fruit Margarita—it was NOT tasty. Dude—this bird was straight up posed for me. We connected for a moment. Me, spilling beer on myself, not so casually. One of my FAVorite photos of my trip! “Umbrella Alley”—they change locations—so, finding them can be a treasure hunt!My single purchase from the family owned tequila distillery. Almond flavored. I made two friends!! Mother and Daughter duo! ( I met them during the Ziplining adventure!)Me, posing like a baddie—before the zip line adventure. I had to give these folks a taste of me. lol My zip lining instructor! He was super cute—and wanted to be my daddy SO BADLY>.THIS PIZZA WAS TRASH. The little Cesar’s of little Cesar’s. Sunset photo #1My favorite sunset photo that I took! The opposite side of my balcony!
These photos aren’t in chronological order—and I am sorry for that. The order goes: Arrival, City Tour, Zip Lining Adventure, Food Tour.
If you plan on staying in PV—I would look into booking some “adventures” through Airbnb. They are cheap, reasonable, and have a great cancellation policy.
And if you are worried about not knowing enough Spanish in order to get around—I know like 2%—and was able to make my way off of the basic words: food, water, sleep, home, no, thank you, please, time, bathroom, garbage, and love. There are more words in my vocabulary than that—but you just need some related nouns—to give folks something to go off of. It’s like a fun game of charades! Mexico style! lol
Well, this concludes another episode of Daniel Eats! 🦋
