Ep. 39: Homebase ft. Fortnite + Adventures & Pulled Pork Fries! ♥️

Hey hey! 👋🏼

It is my sincere wish that everybody reading this is going to have a FABULOUS DAY! And a WONDERFUL WEEKEND!

Today, we are back in Oregon, folks. I have genuinely missed the lush greenery, mountain-scapes, and wild rivers. My Greyhound arrived yesterday at 11pm (10:30 estimated), and hoofed it back to my sister’s house an hour and a half away. YIKES. Believe me–it is super safe here, but this was more backpacking than I did in the whole time I was in Mexico; ironically.

I made it; I WOULD HAVE UBERED, but my phone died as I stepped off the bus(naturally the outlets did not work on the bus).

SO I casually make it to a McDonalds, order, and hunt for an outlet–well, obviously they don’t want folks spending any longer than necessary; all the outlets have been scrubbed from existence. DOUBLE YIKES.

I take my two McDoubles to go, disappointed–and accepted my reality. At least I had some burgers for the walk.

I stopped at two different gas stations to refuel and get snacks–between candy bars, soda, burgers, and gatorade, I also came back with Gout.

Finally laying my head on my pillow at a cool 1:07am, after setting off a dog-alarm, and waking my niece in the process. Nice one, Uncle D.

She stared at me in the dark for a complete 20 seconds before I announced: “Its Uncle Daniel”–she thought a random stranger had wondered in and plopped down on the couch. I would be spooked too–thankfully the dog-alarm sniffed and confirmed that I was indeed a safe-person–my niece still uncertain lol.

Flash forward to the afternoon after: Adventure-Walk, and Fortnite. My youngest niece enjoys going on long-walk in nature, or surrounding unseen locations. So we take supervised field-trips with yours truly. I can’t tell you where we go–it’s a confidentiality agreement between me and my passengers. You understand.

When we were all walked out–and snacked out (Uncle D had to stop at 7-eleven for refreshments(Tim’s Salt and Vinegar Chips and a Fruit Punch)), it’s a wonder I don’t weigh more; I always have something in my mouth. lol My eldest nieces and I have been enjoying ourselves on Fortnite–just Chillin’ & Killin’. Needless to explain that is what happened next. WE GOT 3rd PLACE on TRIOs LAST NIGHT. CASH US OUTSIDE!

I guess I can share this:

My middle niece & nephew and I are still figuring out our routines–all in due time.

Well, I am two cups of coffee deep as I sit and write this; nothing truly extraordinary to share.

The Pulled Pork Fries from Toxic Wings ARE SO TASTY YALL. Don’t ask me what I spent on delivery–I swear is the last time I UBER FOOD.

Okay, I don’t think I have anything else to add. I have a couple errands to run today–and a long, relaxing weekend ahead of me, with the Family. And then, off to my next adventure!

Cash me outside, Loves 🤑💕

Daniel out! 🦋
