Howdy yâall! đ€ Happy Friday! June 14th at 10:27 PST.
It is my intention that whoever finds themselves reading this has a miraculous day and a lovely weekend! âïž
Yesterday I had the brilliant idea to eat 18 feet of Jerky from Tillamook ( my neighbor went to Tillamook, and brought back some goodies, and gave me someâthey come in 6ft pieces WTF!), Jalapeño flavor, no less. AND I drank a huge glass of Chocolate Milkâso my insides are flipped upside down at this moment.
But, the show must go on!
My Dad, yet again, surprised me with another delicious bite. He pulled a pack of steaks from the freezer, dethawed, and pounded them into formation. Floured, and fried them to perfection; literally.
Canned, Frenched Green Beans + Instant Pots and Gravy on the side no less.

This was my plate; I had been eating Jerky all day long, so my plate was smaller than usual. lol đ
This split pea was a completely separate mealâI couldnât tell you how it was made, but I can tell you it had thick chunks of Bacon, and was topped with delightful Corn Bread crumble.

My Dad pulled it out of the freezer and reheated it in a soup pot. I think the cherry on top was the corn bread! We had made Jalapeño corn bread the night beforeâDIIIVVVIIINNNEE!
I have MORE EXCITING NEWS!!!
Yâall, We have reached 500 ALL TIME VIEWS! I AM SO THRILLED!!

PLUS 21 Subscribers!
I want to give a huge THANK YOUâto everyone who has subscribed, viewed, liked and commented! I really enjoy bloggingâso this sort of reception is very comforting and validating! I would say that I blog 51% for my passion of it, and 49% for my readers. I think that the love of a hobby should be what drives the hobby, not the expectation of views or likes.
Whatever I am creating, I am first and foremost and creating for the love of creating. I have to always remind myself that I create for enjoyment not for direct purpose.
Anyway, I think I diverged a bit.
THANK YOU TO ALL OF MY READERS!
Love yaâll!
