Hey folks! It’s Snack-Time!
Welcome to Episode 68! Nearly to 70, and I imagine there will be a special surprise waiting at the finish line!Anyway,
PA and I are still snacking on leftover ham, as if it’s not already a week old. It cooks up beautifully in a pan and becomes so tender. Almost like a bacon and ham love-child. Naturally I had to treat it with absolute respect.
I hope the photos are making you happy; they say we eat with our eyes first, bon appetit! Snack is served!

I topped it with caramelized onions and red onion! I slammed some Mac Salad on the plate like I owned the place, and called it good. Obviously I had to take photos before digging in. And, of course I couldn’t forget the mustardddd. Gawsh Dawrn!

Ingredients:
2 slices of bread (your choice: white, whole wheat, or any kind you prefer)
2-3 slices of ham (thinly sliced)
1-2 slices of cheese (such as Swiss, cheddar, or American)
1 tablespoon butter (for frying)
Optional: mustard, mayonnaise, or pickles for extra flavor
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Sandwich:
Lay out the two slices of bread on a clean surface.
Place the ham slices on one slice of bread.
Add cheese on top of the ham (you can use one slice or fold multiple slices for extra cheese).
Spread mustard, mayonnaise, or your preferred condiment on the other slice of bread (optional).
Top the sandwich with the second slice of bread.
2. Fry the Sandwich:
Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and add butter.
Once the butter melts and starts to sizzle, place the sandwich in the pan.
Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, pressing gently with a spatula, until the bread is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted inside.
3. Serve:
Remove the sandwich from the pan and let it cool for a minute before cutting.
Slice it in half, and serve hot with a side of chips, pickles, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Enjoy your fried ham sandwich!
