Hey folks!
Y’all, life is a whirlwind! I want to thank each and every one of you for reading, and for those of you who have continued reading all along!
Life has been simple and slow, for the most part. Still in Alderdale, waiting for the Aliens to arrive. The garden is finally planted: Cucumbers, Squash, Tomatoes, Onions, and Corn. Not a huge variety by any means, and we will have enough tomatoes to last us though summer, winter, and spring–haha. I know, you probably think I am joking…I am not. I will post the photos. Until then, take my word.
Today is Monday, I successfully completed my to-do list. For dinner, chili over air-fried potatoes with left-over sides of fried red cabbage and onions, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes with pork gravy. I’m a glutton. Just because I don’t post, doesn’t mean I don’t eat lol.
Anywho, I kinda like this writing stuff, more posts to come, this year.
I can post a photo of a sample of my green thumb. See below 🙂

Okay, Here is one of my garden beds. 3 Cucumbers, and 6 Squash. I have to separate the onions more, and maybe transplant a couple of the smaller cucumbers.
This is an old photo, and I have since removed the Sunflowers, and separates the Onions.

Here are two more beds, chalked full of tomatoes. I think I am up to 40 Tomato Plants. Gadzooks!! I have since trans planted onions from the first bed to the second, and third. And, planted more corn and squash seed in the third bed. Hopefully something sprouts!
In other news, I graduated college since my last post–which is exciting personal news. On to bigger and better things. Also, found myself caregiving for my neighbor, who we successfully got into a nursing home, after a few months of being his Caregiver. It was a very long and ordeal, for me, and I am glad that it came to a peaceful close. Ultimately, he did end up passing away, which lead me to hosting an a funeral, and cleaning up is property-ish.
Anywho…we need to go grocery shopping, low in the meat department…no major meals planned in the future.
I’ll post more pictures of my updated garden in the next day or so.
Until then, family, stay safe.
Daniel out ❤
