Ep. 83: Vega’s Mexican Grill & Market (190504 WA-221, Paterson, WA 99345)

Hey ya’ll welcome back to another episode of Daniel Eats! I realized after yesterdays post that I haven’t reviewed a place in a while. So, here we are.

Today my Pa and I took a drive down to Paterson for some beer…and TACOS. This place has been here a while, and has changed hands a few times. But, for right now, it’s Vega’s Mexican Grill and Market. Serving good food at a reasonable price. I’ve contemplated reviewing it sooner, but really hadn’t quality checked them yet, so I held off.

I’ll be honest, i’ve been sleeping on this place for a while. The first time I ate here was about two years ago, and I am still coming back.

I’ve had their burritos, tortas, tacos and sopas; I would recommend them alllll. But for tonight we settled on a 12 pack. 4 Beef, 4 Chicken, and 4 Pork. Honestly, the pork are my favorite.

This is what it looks like. They are kid friendly, and offer ample seating. It doubles as a small market with beer, soda, chips, candy, ice cream, cigarettes, and the like.

I think this one was beef
This looks like Chicken
Beef
Probably Pork. But I might have mixed up the Chicken and the Pork. So, who knows. Lol

Like I said earlier, the pork are my favorite, and you have to get their salsa. It is funny, because they make both green and red, but the taco really deserves both. A brown sauce if you will. Some places mix the green and red making a “brown” hot sauce, it kinda looks like a muddy orange color. Anyway–I’m sweating just thinking about it. Don’t be afraid folks; it is worth it.

5/5 would dine again.

In other news, I may have potentially over watered my tomatoes. Well, in my defense, I didn’t know it was going to rain two days in a row. It’ll take a couple days to dry out; our soil has a high mixture of clay–which traps in moistureeee. I didn’t cultivate very deep, otherwise it would just be potting soil that I was dealing with. Anywho. It’ll sort itself out.

The corn is doing great; I planted about 20 more seeds and they all sprouted! Some, a little too close to their siblings…nothing a little transplant won’t fix. I’ll get ya’ll some photos in the next coming days.

other than that, I’m probably going to start playing Skrim, agaain.

Best of luck to ya,

Daniel out! ❤
